A 2,5 hour tour that begins in harbor of Den Oever (Oostkade) and goes along the sluice at the beginning of the Dam, then along to the tidal banks where different species of birds are foraging and resting. After about half an hour we reach the seals. You can admire them in their natural setting.

At the beginning of the Afsluitdijk in Den Oever you will find Viscentre ’t Wad. A fish restaurant where you can eat the tastiest fish. From the restaurant you overlook the lively harbor with fishing boats. And if you're lucky, you'll see a seal lying behind the dike on the Oeverse Schor. With former fishermen at the helm, quality is guaranteed every day. Wieringen is a former island between the Wadden Sea and Zuiderzee and is wonderfully beautiful. Rolling greenery, wooded banks that protect cattle and cyclists from the wind of the sea, historic farms, cozy villages, winding roads. And the sea is always close by, and so are the sea birds. Gulls, fish thieves, spoonbills and geese call Wieringen their home.
