A 2,5 hour tour that begins in harbor of Den Oever (Oostkade) and goes along the sluice at the beginning of the Dam, then along to the tidal banks where different species of birds are foraging and resting. After about half an hour we reach the seals. You can admire them in their natural setting.

From the restaurant you overlook the lively harbor with fishing boats. And if you're lucky, you'll see a seal lying behind the dike on the Oeverse Schor. With former fishermen at the helm, quality is guaranteed every day. The so-called MUZ-Park was established in 1925-28 for the senior staff of the Society for the Implementation of the Zuiderzee Works. The board members A. Bos and G.A. van Hattum moved into the thatched double villa at Gemeenelandsweg 116, engineer Algra into the detached house at Gemeenelandsweg 110 and for the employers there were the workers' houses at Gemeenelandsweg 94-108 and 128-130.
