At Studio Blank, the legacy of sculptor Hans Blank (1952-2019) will be preserved and continued. Hans lived and worked in Den Oever and in Ireland. In addition to the Fishery Monument on the dike of Den Oever, he also made the Viking ship on the Havenweg near the VIC. The maritime and related myths and legends were central to his work.
