This unique accomadation; The Ecolodge in Oosterland has been realized around a scouting area right at the Waddensea dike. The house is part of a nature plan, called The Waddenparel. The lodge is suitable for 6 persons and has got 3 bedrooms. Two bedrooms with 2 single beds and the other has got a staple bed. There is a bathroom withe a shower and a seperate toilet. We give you the opportunity to go sportfishing in one of the most beautiful parts of nature in Europe: The Wadden Sea. For groups from 10 persons.

Recreation area Zuiderstrand Den Oever near the Zuiderhaven. Booth with bathing water, camper pitches, picnic tables and playground equipment, with views over the Afsluitdijk and the IJsselmeer.

Wieringen is a former island between the Wadden Sea and Zuiderzee and is wonderfully beautiful. Rolling greenery, wooded banks that protect cattle and cyclists from the wind of the sea, historic farms, cozy villages, winding roads. And the sea is always close by, and so are the sea birds. Gulls, fish thieves, spoonbills and geese call Wieringen their home.

Spent the day at the Wadden Sea. Have fun with your friends or family, go fishing or look for seals. Sport Fishing Jorna offers a nice ship for 12 people maximum for sport fishing, evening fishing and seal tours.

A 2,5 hour tour that begins in harbor of Den Oever (Oostkade) and goes along the sluice at the beginning of the Dam, then along to the tidal banks where different species of birds are foraging and resting. After about half an hour we reach the seals. You can admire them in their natural setting.

At the Historical Corner of the Vissershaven in Den Oever, next to the water level house from 1919, is a workshop and meeting space. This building serves to support the activities around the ships berthed in the Historical Corner.

Tijdens de ‘Open Monumentendag’ kunnen er tegen een kleine vergoeding met de schepen uit de Historische Hoek tochtjes gemaakt worden.
