Are you looking for a place where you can completely unwind? Our holiday home Wijde Waddenzee is located in one of the most beautiful locations in Wieringen. The house is detached with a large backyard. From the kitchen you have a beautiful view over the Wadden Sea.

'The apARTment' is a spacious, comfortable and specially designed house on the former island of Wieringen, "De Kroon" of North Holland. The combination of the space decorated with design and art and the authentic landscape with the Wadden coast, the Robbenoordbos, IJsselmeer, fishing port and the Afsluitdijk makes a stay in The apARTment unique.

Den Oever is also located on the Afsluitdijk and is therefore the only village that is located on fresh and salt water. The port is located near the Afsluitdijk on the Wadden Sea side. Den Oever is a real fishing port. A section of the harbor has been set up as a tourist harbour. You can take a Wadden cruise here or go for a day of sport fishing.

A 2 to 2½ hour trip that starts at the Oostkade. We sail through the harbors of Den Oever and past the sluices in the Afsluitdijk. Then we sail along the "Losse Dam" where the spoonbills and cormorants breed and along drier sandbanks where seals rest.

Casa Luz means Light House. And that is one of the characteristics of this holiday home: the beautiful incidence of light. The garden with a view over the meadows is located on one of the oldest dikes in the Netherlands, where the sheep regularly walk past in spring and summer. In the living room is our favorite spot: the hanging chair. Are you taking a bath or under the outdoor shower? This is where you can relax!

The four storage sheds on Gesterweg were built in 1937 as a warehouse for Stelling Den Oever and were used as a mobilization complex during the Cold War.
