The gauge house in the harbor of Den Oever was used to record the water level. There are two of these houses on Wieringen.

RMH Carrental is a young and customer-oriented company located on Wieringen. They have young cars with cruise control and air conditioning / climate control. Studio Gest is located in a former warehouse and has its own entrance and consists of a large, high living room of approx 60m2 with underfloor heating. The studio has a private terrace and can accommodate two persons. Possibly there may be a bed or cot to be put. The studio is suitable for those seeking tranquility, business people, bird watchers, cyclists, walkers and parents with young children. You can relax but also work quietly. The studio is equipped with shower and toilet, a kitchen and coffee maker. There is a TV and free Wi-Fi. 2 bikes are at your disposal.

Early 12th-century church of tuff with crypt. Organ built by Teschemacher in 1762. Changing exhibitions and concerts; tower climbing with a magnificent view over the Wadden Sea and Wieringen. In the Michaëls church in Oosterland are changing exhibitions which you can visit. In the church are paintings and in the crypt of the church you will find visual work.

Corn mill De Hoop was probably built around 1654. Since 2015, the mill has been milling again and runs weekly thanks to the efforts of volunteers.
