Bakery Alkemade has been a household name in Breezand and surroundings for more than 18 years. In the bakery, 8 full-time bakers are busy preparing artisanal bread and pastries 6 days a week.

Apartment De Witte Brug is located above a café in the center of Breezand. A staircase leads to the terrace where the entrance of the house is located. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, a living room with open kitchen and a bathroom. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. On the first floor there is a room with a table tennis table and a 'hanging area' for the youngsters. On the south-west facing terrace there is a fixed barbecue and a fire pot for the evening. On the other side of the tennis court there are some play equipment. On the eastern terrace you can enjoy breakfast in the morning, in sunny weather.

The Old Anna Paulowna Museum has the exhibition "100 years after the flood disaster" in the Anna Paulowna polder. In the museum, the photographs of, among others, photographer Piet Jonker are enlarged and viewable throughout the year. The exhibition "The notes with their drawings" is also available.

De Anna Paulownapolder werd in 1846 drooggemaakt. Voor de transportroute van het Noordhollandsch Kanaal naar de Molenvaart werd er een sluis en hefboom gebouwd. Vermoedelijk werd er ook een huis voor de sluis- en brugwachter gebouwd. Archiefstukken tonen aan dat in 1892 opdracht werd gegeven voor de bouw van een stenen huis met café door sluis- en brugwachter J. Langedijk. Het café werd bezocht door scheepsbemanning en passanten. In 1968 werden de hefbrug en sluis door vermindering van scheepsvervoer verwijderd. Over de voormalige sluis werd een weg aangelegd.
