Museum Anna Paulowna

The farm from 1890 was built for a flower bulb grower and is therefore also called a 'bulb stelp'. The white-plastered bell jar next to it was built in the 1990s.

Holiday cottage or actually a holiday farmhouse with 6 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets, a sauna, a games room with 2 darts, television, internet access and pool billiard room. On the first floor there is a room with a table tennis table and a 'hanging area' for the youngsters. On the south-west facing terrace there is a fixed barbecue and a fire pot for the evening. On the other side of the tennis court there are some play equipment. On the eastern terrace you can enjoy breakfast in the morning, in sunny weather.

Visit the largest garden center for the Anna Paulowna, Wieringen, Wieringermeer, De Zijpe, Schagen and Den Helder regions. We specialize in plants and also offer a large assortment for garden design, terrace, pet store, ponds, barbecues and home decoration. Bread and pastry baker located in Breezand.

Your Butcher Sander Duin and his team wish you a warm welcome in their modern butcher shop at Ceresplein 21 in Breezand. They stand for tasty and honest products. The beef comes directly from the farm where the cattle grow up in peace on the grassy Wieringerweide. But also for traditional sausage types you have come to the right place at Uw Slager Sander Duin. Every day they are busy with tasty meat specialties.

Children's farm de Regenmortel is a zoo in the heart of Breezand and is run entirely by volunteers. From 15 April to 31 October, Kinderboerderij de Regenmortel is open every Wednesday and Friday afternoon from 14:00 to 16:00. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the animals while enjoying a cup of coffee, tea or lemonade, the children (but also adults) can help with their work or color a coloring page in / at the log cabin. Bakery Alkemade has been a household name in Breezand and surroundings for more than 18 years. In the bakery, 8 full-time bakers are busy preparing artisanal bread and pastries 6 days a week.

The Anna Paulownapolder was drained in 1846. A lock and lever were built for the transport route from the North Holland Canal to the Molenvaart. Presumably a house for the lock and bridge keeper was also built. Archive documents show that in 1892 the order was given for the construction of a stone house with a café by lock and bridge keeper J. Langedijk. The café was visited by ship's crew and passers-by. In 1968 the lifting bridge and lock were removed due to a reduction in shipping traffic. A road was built over the former lock.

The holiday home offers a lot of space, peace and comfort (at 2000m2 ground). The Ouwebalg is located in the middle of nature and is surrounded by bulb fields. The garden is completely surrounded by trees, which means that in summer there is no view from the outside. The garden is bordered by one of the most beautiful fishing waters in The Netherlands.
