The Old Anna Paulowna Museum has the exhibition "100 years after the flood disaster" in the Anna Paulowna polder. De Anna Paulownapolder werd in 1846 drooggemaakt. Voor de transportroute van het Noordhollandsch Kanaal naar de Molenvaart werd er een sluis en hefboom gebouwd. Vermoedelijk werd er ook een huis voor de sluis- en brugwachter gebouwd. Archiefstukken tonen aan dat in 1892 opdracht werd gegeven voor de bouw van een stenen huis met café door sluis- en brugwachter J. Langedijk. Het café werd bezocht door scheepsbemanning en passanten. In 1968 werden de hefbrug en sluis door vermindering van scheepsvervoer verwijderd. Over de voormalige sluis werd een weg aangelegd.

Holiday cottage or actually a holiday farmhouse with 6 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets, a sauna, a games room with 2 darts, television, internet access and pool billiard room. On the first floor there is a room with a table tennis table and a 'hanging area' for the youngsters. On the south-west facing terrace there is a fixed barbecue and a fire pot for the evening.
