De Aap is the most active youth association in the municipality of Hollands Kroon. It started around 1940 in an old shack where young people went after church to do a beer. Nowadays the Monkey functions as a place of entertainment that focuses on starting party animals. The Old Anna Paulowna Museum has the exhibition "100 years after the flood disaster" in the Anna Paulowna polder. In the museum, the photographs of, among others, photographer Piet Jonker are enlarged and viewable throughout the year. The exhibition "The notes with their drawings" is also available.

Children's farm de Regenmortel is a zoo in the heart of Breezand and is run entirely by volunteers. From 15 April to 31 October, Kinderboerderij de Regenmortel is open every Wednesday and Friday afternoon from 14:00 to 16:00. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the animals while enjoying a cup of coffee, tea or lemonade, the children (but also adults) can help with their work or color a coloring page in / at the log cabin. It owes its name to the "white bridge" that is across the street from the property. They serve you the delicious dishes for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
