De Aap is the most active youth association in the municipality of Hollands Kroon. It started around 1940 in an old shack where young people went after church to do a beer. Nowadays the Monkey functions as a place of entertainment that focuses on starting party animals. It owes its name to the "white bridge" that is across the street from the property. They serve you the delicious dishes for breakfast, lunch or dinner. De Witte Brug bistro in Breezand also takes care of the entire catering: from the concept to dressing up your party. Your Butcher Sander Duin and his team wish you a warm welcome in their modern butcher shop at Ceresplein 21 in Breezand. They stand for tasty and honest products. The beef comes directly from the farm where the cattle grow up in peace on the grassy Wieringerweide. But also for traditional sausage types you have come to the right place at Uw Slager Sander Duin. Every day they are busy with tasty meat specialties.

In the center of Breezand, you will find Zwembad Den Krieck. A swimming pool that offers many possibilities. The bath has a 25 meter bath, an instruction pool and a toddler bath. The large bath is heated from 28 to 30 degrees.

De Anna Paulownapolder werd in 1846 drooggemaakt. Voor de transportroute van het Noordhollandsch Kanaal naar de Molenvaart werd er een sluis en hefboom gebouwd. Vermoedelijk werd er ook een huis voor de sluis- en brugwachter gebouwd. Archiefstukken tonen aan dat in 1892 opdracht werd gegeven voor de bouw van een stenen huis met café door sluis- en brugwachter J. Langedijk. Het café werd bezocht door scheepsbemanning en passanten. In 1968 werden de hefbrug en sluis door vermindering van scheepsvervoer verwijderd. Over de voormalige sluis werd een weg aangelegd.

The Old Anna Paulowna Museum has the exhibition "100 years after the flood disaster" in the Anna Paulowna polder. Bakery Alkemade has been a household name in Breezand and surroundings for more than 18 years. In the bakery, 8 full-time bakers are busy preparing artisanal bread and pastries 6 days a week.
