Restaurant Stoom is a hip and trendy a-la-carte restaurant in Den Helder. A place for everyone to dine, work, meet and especially enjoy in a personal atmosphere. Stoom is situated in a unique spot in a beautiful monumental building at Willemsoord, which formerly served as a shipyard and maintenance yard for the Royal Dutch Navy. Glass, brick, wood and steel are the original elements that you encounter in the restaurant. Tough and robust.

In the centre of Den Helder, you will find a magnificent collection of colorful tropical plants. It's the largest Japanese garden in the Netherlands with running water.

Creative organizational talent that can be used for various projects. I started my business 9 years ago. Organizing parties, events, artists' books (well-known and less well-known). At Accordeonola, accordion players are given the opportunity to make music together in an accordion orchestra. Under the guidance of a skilled conductor we try to set the bar high! We are always on the lookout for new and appealing music whereby we challenge our members to get the best out of themselves.

Steamboat Y8211 and tugboat Dombo Y8017 are historical. The volunteers are working with a lot of passion to keep the boats in the water. It is possible to take a ride with the Dombo. The boat trips are organized alongside the Tourist Information Point.

We are a great choir, which is still young at heart. We are regularly asked to give concerts and we rehearse every Tuesday afternoon. Our repertoire does not only consist of operetta melodies, because we do not turn our hands around, to sing musical and evergreens. Nieuwe leden zijn van harte welkom!
