We specialize in Egyptian/Mediteranian specialties, along with a fusion kitchen. Wij have a flavour of our own, and make our products of fresh, artisan ingredients. If you choose Kunst & Kitchen, you enter a world where the traditional Eastern art of cooking comes together with modern, western art. Every 6 weeks we have a changing exposition of renowned artists.

Since 1996, the museum lightship Texel No. 10 has been an absolute eye-catcher in Museum Harbor Willemsoord on the Oude Rijkswerf Willemsoord in Den Helder. What is special is that the now beautifully restored ship is moored a stone's throw from the slipway where she was launched in 1951. After this, the lightship would be a reliable beacon in the sea off the Dutch coast for forty years. It now forms a shining centerpiece of a special museum ships collection. Lightship Texel is open to the public, check the website for current opening times.

On the edge of forest and dunes, at walking distance from the beach, there are two beautiful, well-maintained en fully furnished appartments under one roof. In the direct surroundings you will find a beautiful nature area with great cycling and walking opportunities, and an extensive canoe-route. For your daily groceries, a shopping mall is right around the corner.

Enjoy our delicious Italian cuisine at pizzaria Da Gino. Our restaurant is located in a beautiful location in the centre of Den Helder. We, Giorgio Tronci and my wife Alice Defigus, are very proud of the location of our restaurant. The building has been designed in a fine Mediterranean look. We will receive you warmly and ensure that you have a lovely evening.

Enjoy all kinds of classic ships, characteristic buildings and maritime craft activities. Visit a very special lightship, take a tour on a classic tugboat or take a day trip on a boat! Good for a wonderful day (or several!) out, especially in combination with the Navy Museum, the National Rescue Museum Dorus Rijkers and the cozy terraces and restaurants!

The Stichting Museumhaven Willemsoord (SMW) is supported for many executive, operational activities by the Stichting Nautische Monumenten (SNM). Willemsoord is a popular berth for owners of these types of ships.

Chantastic is a project choir. It is a project by Zangstudio Arjen Busscher. A project choir is based on variation. There is a different theme within each agreed period. Work is being done on songs from a certain music style or artist. After that period you can sign up for a new project with a different theme.
