Zijpe Molen P-V

The monumental mill 'De Hoop' state since 1913 at the Molenpad in 't Zand. The mill was built in 1631 in Wormerveer as mill 'De Bok' and has since had various functions. It was the fifth oil mill that was founded in Wormerveer.

A permanent exhibition is set in the visitor center at the Eendenkooi 't Zand. All questions regarding duck cages are answered here. The exhibition also shows which animals live in the duck cage. Plant growth is discussed and a palludarium shows life underwater. A visit to the visitor center is free. Opened during excursions and prior to excursions.

Between the village of 't Zand and the seaside resort of Callantsoog in North Holland, at the end of a cul-de-sac, you will find the mini camping / farm camping site Camping Eindeloos. There are 25 pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents available on the campsite.

This North Holland polder mill was built in the 17th century and restored in 1974/1980.

Holiday Villa De Dars, is located just outside the village 't Zand in the middle of the typical Dutch country side, wide views, flower and cabbage fields and windmills. The Holiday Villa has plenty of space to accommodate 10 people and is part of an 125 year old authentic Northern Dutch farmhouse. Uniquely located in the center of the beautiful village of 't Zand. When you stay in 't Zand you are centrally located for all kinds of activities. Walking on the beach and then having lunch in a nice beach bar, cycling between the beautiful bulb fields, a day on a city trip to Alkmaar, Den Helder or Schagen or a day on Texel, it is all possible from our B&B.
