Cafetaria Smikkelhof ’t Zand

Zeezand Recreatie is located on the North Holland coast. A small-scale holiday park in the middle of the tulip fields and various charming coastal towns.

This North Holland polder mill was built in the 17th century and restored in 1974/1980.

This church dates from the year 1863. The exterior of the church was designed by the architect Th.Molkenboer Leyden (1796-1863). Since 1920 the church has been threatened to collapse in 1923 so new buttresse were build against the right wall. On the left wall, one can still see the original buttresses.

Prince-like dining in the picturesque canal village of 't Zand, located between the city of Schagen and the beach town of Callantsoog. Take a break during a walking or cycling tour with lunch or good coffee with apple pie. Evenings delicious after summer on our renovated terrace with a good dinner.

Holiday Villa De Dars, is located just outside the village 't Zand in the middle of the typical Dutch country side, wide views, flower and cabbage fields and windmills. The Holiday Villa is located approximately 6 km from a long sand beach. The Holiday Villa has plenty of space to accommodate 10 people and is part of an 125 year old authentic Northern Dutch farmhouse. The Holiday Villa is equipped with all modern conveniences, is cozy and has a large outdoor space.

The apartment / studio is located about 3 km from the sea. It is suitable for 2-6 people and has two bedrooms. In the property you will find a microwave, TV and internet connection. The accommodation has also a terrace / garden and parkingplace. A dog is not allowed.

Bed and Breakfast - Hoeve Zonzicht is situated in a quite rural setting only 10 minutes from the beach at Callantsoog, it is only a short drive to the charming town of Schagen.

You will be staying in a quiet location on the Noord Hollandskanaal in the outer edge of the pleasant village of 't Zand. You will stay in a large living room of 50 m2 with a private bathroom and toilet, sauna and solarium, and all this on the 1st floor! The use of the solarium is possible for a small fee. There is also a large roof terrace (15 m2) with sunbeds where you can enjoy the evening sun. The B&B is a great base for cycling and walking. The beach is approximately 4 km away and Schagen is 9 km away.

A permanent exhibition is set in the visitor center at the Eendenkooi 't Zand. All questions regarding duck cages are answered here. The exhibition also shows which animals live in the duck cage. Plant growth is discussed and a palludarium shows life underwater. A visit to the visitor center is free. Opened during excursions and prior to excursions.
