This unique accomadation; The Ecolodge in Oosterland has been realized around a scouting area right at the Waddensea dike. The house is part of a nature plan, called The Waddenparel. The lodge is suitable for 6 persons and has got 3 bedrooms. Two bedrooms with 2 single beds and the other has got a staple bed. There is a bathroom withe a shower and a seperate toilet. At the beginning of the Afsluitdijk in Den Oever you will find Viscentre ’t Wad. A fish restaurant where you can eat the tastiest fish. From the restaurant you overlook the lively harbor with fishing boats. And if you're lucky, you'll see a seal lying behind the dike on the Oeverse Schor. With former fishermen at the helm, quality is guaranteed every day. The fish restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. Whoever goes out for a day in Den Oever, to the Wadden Sea or to the Afsluitdijk is at the right place at Viscentre 't Wad to eat a nice fish.

At the Historical Corner of the Vissershaven in Den Oever, next to the water level house from 1919, is a workshop and meeting space. This building serves to support the activities around the ships berthed in the Historical Corner.
