Children's farm de Regenmortel is a zoo in the heart of Breezand and is run entirely by volunteers. From 15 April to 31 October, Kinderboerderij de Regenmortel is open every Wednesday and Friday afternoon from 14:00 to 16:00. At the beginning of the last century, many flower bulb growers moved to the north of North Holland. Many growers from South Holland came to “De Noord”. This created a need for its own parish church. To cover the start-up costs, voluntary contributions were asked and a church bulb auction was held.
