H.W.N. is an watersport organization, with 120 berths in the nautical heart of Den Helder. Situated next to a big shipyard, right next to the harbor for offshore, fishing and navy, there is always something to see or do around here. We have a nice wooden building with a cantina and sanitation. During the summer, the harbormaster will be there to welcome you and be at your service.

On the edge of forest and dunes, at walking distance from the beach, there are two beautiful, well-maintained en fully furnished appartments under one roof. In the direct surroundings you will find a beautiful nature area with great cycling and walking opportunities, and an extensive canoe-route. For your daily groceries, a shopping mall is right around the corner.

The Helderse Historische Vereniging was founded on July 1, 1988 and is concerned with the preservation, disclosure and distribution of the history of Den Helder.

Every day you will find our employees at the fish auction in Harlingen, Lauwersoog or Den Helder to select the best fish for you. We have many different kind of fish at our restaurant.

Our Dutch culture seems to be fading, but not in Den Helder. Since 1975, the Helderse Draaiorgelvrienden have been active to maintain a tradition. The 90-key street organ 'de Harmonica' is managed and operated by the volunteers of 'Stichting Helderse Draaiorgelvrienden'. Almost every Saturday they are with the organ in the city center of Den Helder. On an original wooden, three-wheeled push cart and always turned by hand, as happened a century ago.

Upcycling is the base principle with which we work, where durability and recycling are important factors. Materials and objects are being re-used and usually get a totally different function. Every product has a unique characters because of it. Mindsz also has the goal to offer a workplace for people who are psychologically vulnerable and have a big distance to the job market.
