KopGroep Bibiotheken (Libraries) has three branches in Den Helder and Julianadorp and a service point in De Schooten. The central library can be found in the city centre of Den Helder. School 7 is the living room of the city, where people come to meet each other, are doing their work, take a course or read the newspaper.

The Dutch lifeboat service through the ages and the safety aspects at sea are at the centre of attention in this museum. Original lifeboats, ship models, scale models, paintings, pictures, distinctions, life-saving equipment and movies are being displayed. All texts and computersimulations are in the English language and most movies as well. Daily, between 13.00 and 16.00 hrs, a 15 minute tour through the inner harbour can be made on board a historic lifeboat. Reservations for the boattrip not required.

B&B De RijksWerf is located at an unique location at the "Oude Rijkswerf Willemsoord". Museums, restaurants and the city centre are nearby.

La Mer is a mixed choir that has film, musical and popular established music on its repertoire, this will be accompanied by a super combo. All this under the guidance of a very skilled conductor: Arjan Busscher

We, Giorgio Tronci and my wife Alice Defigus, are very proud of the location of our restaurant. The building has been designed in a fine Mediterranean look. The title, Fort Oostoever, a half fort' is for the second time validity. Seperated by the Noordhollands canel alongside Fort Westoever the fortress on the Noordhollands canel. After the urge to expand of the council of Den Helder to get more space the fort was halved again. Fortress Oostoever is rarely visitable.

Creative organizational talent that can be used for various projects. I started my business 9 years ago. Organizing parties, events, artists' books (well-known and less well-known). An advantage is that I myself am a musician and feel what the client means, on the other hand I have the "feeling" with the artists. Creative thinking has become my trademark and together with a large team we do everything we can to achieve a great end result.
