Welcome to the unique b&b The House of the Wadden. 2 houses joint together. One a former cheese shop and the other an old village inn where you still can find the old details and atmospere of the former island Wieringen. What makes it so unique? The bright and happy coulors. A well filled library with lots of information on the Wadden, art and a wonderful readingtable. A kitchen where you can cook yourself. Possibility to make an adventures tour on the Waddensea.

The so-called MUZ-Park was established in 1925-28 for the senior staff of the Society for the Implementation of the Zuiderzee Works. The board members A. Bos and G.A. van Hattum moved into the thatched double villa at Gemeenelandsweg 116, engineer Algra into the detached house at Gemeenelandsweg 110 and for the employers there were the workers' houses at Gemeenelandsweg 94-108 and 128-130.

In the renewed young and passionate restaurant you will be surprised by the hospitality, attention, good atmosphere, beautiful decor, quality products and of course the love on the plate! All hot dishes are prepared on the Green Mountain Pellet Grill. This BBQ is fired on wood pellets instead of coal or briquettes. This special mix of pressed wood pellets gives a unique taste to every dish. In addition to the menu, changing seasonal dishes are offered, if possible from the neighborhood.

A visit to tea room/tea shop 't Theeater is a unique experience that you should definitely not miss. Under 'Packages' you will find all kinds of possibilities for an unforgettable day out!

A pub in the Havenstraat of the town of Den Oever.

M.S. Dageraad organizes arrangements for various boattrips, starting from the harbouw in Den Oever: sport fishing, evening fishing, seal tours, roundtrips and day tours.

A 2,5 hour tour that begins in harbor of Den Oever (Oostkade) and goes along the sluice at the beginning of the Dam, then along to the tidal banks where different species of birds are foraging and resting. After about half an hour we reach the seals. You can admire them in their natural setting.
