A yurt is originally a Mongolian nomad tent. This yurt only has an American touch, as it is produced in Colorado. We imported it at the beginning of 2021 and installed the interior ourselves. The Poldertuin is a park ('Little Keukenhof') featuring spring flowers such as hyacinths, daffodils, tulips, and special bulb and tuber crops. The flower bulbs have been provided by bulb growers from the region. A group of volunteers, with the help of the Municipality of Hollands Kroon, ensures that there is a beautiful garden to admire every year. The garden is in bloom and at its most beautiful from mid-March to mid-May. The garden is open all year round. Admission is free. Tip: combine a visit to the Poldertuin with the Flower Days.
