Johanna's Bos is a Creative Country Estate with location theatre, mini camping and food forest. The Subsidence was created by the construction of the Amsteldiepdijk. By using the wrong material for the dike, the unstable subsurface was pushed aside. This resulted in a sandbar which is called the subsidence. Salt water from the Wadden Sea seeps under the Amsteldiepdijk. As a result, the reed and grasslands of the settlement have become salty and that is rare. We therefore do everything we can to properly maintain these parts. Here you will find endangered plant species such as real spoon leaf and salt herb. Various orchids grow in the reed land.

Father and Mother Baker started to travel to Eastern Europe with Bibles and reliefs in the early eighties. To help keep the Christians there, the idea of ??a mini campsite with which the family started in 1984 began. Who loves rest, beach, sea and flower fields is all in place and welcome.

The Poldertuin is a park ('Little Keukenhof') featuring spring flowers such as hyacinths, daffodils, tulips, and special bulb and tuber crops. The flower bulbs have been provided by bulb growers from the region. A group of volunteers, with the help of the Municipality of Hollands Kroon, ensures that there is a beautiful garden to admire every year.
