Boerderij de Waard is located in the Oostpolder Anna Paulowna in the community of Hollands Kroon. The barn of this farm from 1911 was demolished in 2015 and rebuilt as a B&B. You can enjoy rest and space here, both indoors and outdoors. You can make free use of books, games and shuffleboard in the common area and WiFi throughout the building.

The Subsidence was created by the construction of the Amsteldiepdijk. By using the wrong material for the dike, the unstable subsurface was pushed aside. This resulted in a sandbar which is called the subsidence. Salt water from the Wadden Sea seeps under the Amsteldiepdijk. As a result, the reed and grasslands of the settlement have become salty and that is rare. We therefore do everything we can to properly maintain these parts. Here you will find endangered plant species such as real spoon leaf and salt herb. Various orchids grow in the reed land.
