This is partly thanks to our many stores in all the neighbourhoods in Den Helder and Julianadorp. The accessibility for customers is therefore optimal.

Canoe rental Den Helder is located at The Helderse Vallei, the center of all canoe routes that Den Helder and Julianadorp are rich in. From here you can see all sides. In addition to the 4 well-defined routes, there are several waterways that are excellent for canoeers and SUPpers (stand up peddeling). We offer single and double canoes and kayaks and triple Canadian canoes. You can also rent longboards and SUP's and we also provide SUP and canoe clinics.

'T Veerhuis Lands End is literally in the north of North Holland. From this unique location on the dike, we offer a magnificent view. In our restaurant or at our terrace you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee, lunch, high tea, drinks or a dinner. Our chefs work with fresh products.

Restaurant Vice Versa is situated in the station building of Den Helder Airport, from which our guests can enjoy a nice cup of coffee, a lovely lunch, our sandwich of the month or one of our delicious fried egg on toast. All of that whilst overlooking the runway of the airport with all sorts of activity. What a lot of the people of Den Helder don't know, is that we are freely accessible. No passport or ID required! You can also come to us for all sorts of catering possibilities. You can also celebrate your birthday or some other occasion with us!

Nowhere in North Holland is bird life as rich as on Balgzand. The land here is wide and beautiful. From a number of points on the sea dyke you have a beautiful view of the mudflats. A good point to look at is ’t Kuitje Information Centre on the Oostoeverweg in Den Helder. Note the tides, for with rising water the thousands of birds fly in large swirling clouds towards the dike to spend time there.
