Housed in the historic mast shed, once part of the Royal Netherlands Navy, it is now an open and inspiring space for residents and visitors alike. Scheepsfolk is a Dutch maritime folk band with its own unique sound. The band regularly performs in many countries during festivals and nautical events and in folk clubs. The enthusiastic crew accompanies themselves with accordion, guitar, mandolin, banjo, ukulele, draw bag, washboard, candrum, kazoo, cajon and double bass. The musical influences come from all over Europe, so Scheepsfolk has developed its own unique style.
