De Anna Paulownapolder werd in 1846 drooggemaakt. Voor de transportroute van het Noordhollandsch Kanaal naar de Molenvaart werd er een sluis en hefboom gebouwd. Vermoedelijk werd er ook een huis voor de sluis- en brugwachter gebouwd. Archiefstukken tonen aan dat in 1892 opdracht werd gegeven voor de bouw van een stenen huis met café door sluis- en brugwachter J. Langedijk. Het café werd bezocht door scheepsbemanning en passanten. In 1968 werden de hefbrug en sluis door vermindering van scheepsvervoer verwijderd. Over de voormalige sluis werd een weg aangelegd.

The Old Anna Paulowna Museum has the exhibition "100 years after the flood disaster" in the Anna Paulowna polder. The farm from 1890 was built for a flower bulb grower and is therefore also called a 'bulb stelp'. The white-plastered bell jar next to it was built in the 1990s.

Meerbos Breezand is een voedselbos midden tussen de prachtige bloembollenvelden in de Noordkop. In dit voedselbos staan allerlei bomen, struiken en planten met eetbare vruchten. Laat je verrassen door de rijkdom van de natuur tijdens een presentatie of rondleiding.

Holiday cottage or actually a holiday farmhouse with 6 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets, a sauna, a games room with 2 darts, television, internet access and pool billiard room. On the first floor there is a room with a table tennis table and a 'hanging area' for the youngsters. On the south-west facing terrace there is a fixed barbecue and a fire pot for the evening. On the other side of the tennis court there are some play equipment. On the eastern terrace you can enjoy breakfast in the morning, in sunny weather.

De Aap is the most active youth association in the municipality of Hollands Kroon. It started around 1940 in an old shack where young people went after church to do a beer. Nowadays the Monkey functions as a place of entertainment that focuses on starting party animals. De Aap offers a safe environment where young people can get acquainted with going out in a responsible way. This does not mean that you will only encounter 16-year-olds in the Aap, because you will not find the conviviality there easily at other places of entertainment. Children's farm de Regenmortel is a zoo in the heart of Breezand and is run entirely by volunteers. From 15 April to 31 October, Kinderboerderij de Regenmortel is open every Wednesday and Friday afternoon from 14:00 to 16:00. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the animals while enjoying a cup of coffee, tea or lemonade, the children (but also adults) can help with their work or color a coloring page in / at the log cabin.
