At the children's farm you can see rabbits, chickens, and goats .On the property you can also find Emoes, bennetkanagaroes and zebra's. in the middle of the property you'll find the lions !

The Subsidence was created by the construction of the Amsteldiepdijk. By using the wrong material for the dike, the unstable subsurface was pushed aside. This resulted in a sandbar which is called the subsidence. Salt water from the Wadden Sea seeps under the Amsteldiepdijk. As a result, the reed and grasslands of the settlement have become salty and that is rare. We therefore do everything we can to properly maintain these parts. Here you will find endangered plant species such as real spoon leaf and salt herb. Various orchids grow in the reed land.
