Corn mill De Hoop was probably built around 1654. Since 2015, the mill has been milling again and runs weekly thanks to the efforts of volunteers.

Casa Luz means Light House. And that is one of the characteristics of this holiday home: the beautiful incidence of light. The garden with a view over the meadows is located on one of the oldest dikes in the Netherlands, where the sheep regularly walk past in spring and summer. We give you the opportunity to go sportfishing in one of the most beautiful parts of nature in Europe: The Wadden Sea. For groups from 10 persons.

A 2 to 2½ hour trip that starts at the Oostkade. We sail through the harbors of Den Oever and past the sluices in the Afsluitdijk. Then we sail along the "Losse Dam" where the spoonbills and cormorants breed and along drier sandbanks where seals rest.
