The Watersport Vereniging Amstelmeer has both certified courses, competition events and a fun component that often goes together. In the summer months there is a competition against each other on Tuesday evening, with a pleasant discussion afterwards at the bar in the clubhouse, where the sausage is cut by the person who draws the winning fate. Several times a year competitions for sailing boats and tours for motor boaters are organized such as the opening championships, 4-port competition, dab race, eel race etc.

The Marina in Middenmeer is a nice marina with good and useful facilities. You have the opportunity to land in a well accessible port with scaffold which is accessible to everyone.

The farm of Jant Lont is an original Wieringer farm dating from 1854, is showing live and working on Wieringen. Special is the tilewall with bible exposures. The farm has been renovated in 2004-2005 and refurbished. It has a lot of information.

Studio Gest is located in a former warehouse and has its own entrance and consists of a large, high living room of approx 60m2 with underfloor heating. The studio has a private terrace and can accommodate two persons. Possibly there may be a bed or cot to be put. The studio is suitable for those seeking tranquility, business people, bird watchers, cyclists, walkers and parents with young children. You can relax but also work quietly. The studio is equipped with shower and toilet, a kitchen and coffee maker. There is a TV and free Wi-Fi. 2 bikes are at your disposal.
