Smartlappenkoor Ordinaria is a four-part choir that has been around for more than 20 years. We sing smartlaps, life songs and Dutch-language repertoire. Every year we participate in Music Day, Summer Dreams and other events.

The Helders museum is located in the old music dome of the former lyceum on Timorlaan. Today this dome is also known as the Paviljoen van Toen, which borders the Timor Park in Den Helder. In addition to changing exhibitions, the museum also has various artefacts on display, each of which tells a specific story about the rich history of the city of Den Helder. Willemsoord Marina is a marina with modern sanitary facilities, a launderette and a fuel pontoon where you can refuel with diesel oil. The marina is equipped with a WiFi system. As a marina, we have proudly been wearing the Blue Flag since 2009 and since 2016 the Green Pennant has also been added. The Blue Flag and Green Pennant are international environmental awards. Outside the marina we have a yacht yard where you can go for all types of maintenance and repair work.

Mindsz gallery & upcycle workplace has surprising and unique designer furniture and home accessories, made out of recycled materials. Upcycling is the base principle with which we work, where durability and recycling are important factors. Materials and objects are being re-used and usually get a totally different function. Every product has a unique characters because of it. Mindsz also has the goal to offer a workplace for people who are psychologically vulnerable and have a big distance to the job market.
