The Van Haaster family has a family business in flower bulbs. Their farm is located in the middle of the bulb fields. Because they themselves always enjoy the environment and the many hours of sunshine that Den Helder has to offer, they have decided to share their beautiful place with everyone who likes camping. That is why they opened their Mini Camping “Uitzicht” in June 2021. Peter and Petra Oudsten have been living in Den Helder since 2019 and have a great love for Den Helder and the surrounding area. They will manage the campsite for the Van Haasteren family and will assist you with advice and assistance.

The Balgzandpolder is entirely designed for birds. You always see birds here resting or looking for food. At high tide in the Wadden Sea there are extra birds to be seen here. They can often be admired from a short distance via a viewing screen.
