The magnificent arranged 2x9 holes golf course with A-status is situated nearby the dunes and the sea. It has a open character and is almost always playable because of the sandy soil.

In addition to our campsite, we also have a canoe rental located on the canoe route in Julianadorp. Our canoes are suitable for young and old, experienced and inexperienced. The campsite’s canoes can be found on the Van Foreestweg, at the start of the canoe route in Julianadorp. Life jackets for children are available at the reception.

At a 5 minutes walk from beach, sea and dunes lies horse riding school Bruin. From the age of 7 you can join our world of horse riding. We are a 3-star FNRS horse riding school. For both the beginning and the experienced horse rider, you have come to the right place. You are also welcome for jumping and dressage lessons. But we do more than just lessons. During the summer you can enjoy outside rides across beaches and dunes. We organise dressage and jumping competitions, variety shows, ridercamps, moonrides and we help you get rider certificate 1, 2 and 3, and the rider's license.

Steamboat Y8211 and tugboat Dombo Y8017 are historical. The volunteers are working with a lot of passion to keep the boats in the water. It is possible to take a ride with the Dombo. The boat trips are organized alongside the Tourist Information Point.

From coming up with a surprising storyline in your game to making educational assignments in an app or on paper. In addition, we can also ensure a successful implementation on location. Canoe rental Den Helder is located at The Helderse Vallei, the center of all canoe routes that Den Helder and Julianadorp are rich in. From here you can see all sides. In addition to the 4 well-defined routes, there are several waterways that are excellent for canoeers and SUPpers (stand up peddeling). We offer single and double canoes and kayaks and triple Canadian canoes. You can also rent longboards and SUP's and we also provide SUP and canoe clinics.

The Aquanauten diving club is a fun diving club for anyone who likes to practice his or her hobby in a sporty way. Underwater sports association the Aquanauten is the oldest association in Den Helder and also the diving association with the most members (more than 60) in Den Helder. In addition to diving, our diving club is also very sporty practicing underwater hockey.

In the subtropical swimming pool Ooghduyne in Julianadorp, it’s splashing fun! The 61 meter long slide and the pushing water of the rapids guarantee a lot of water fun. With a pleasant water temperature and extensive facilities, every family with very young children will feel right at home. Time for a break? Then relax in the hot tub or at the swimmer's bar.

’t Noorder Sandt is located close to the adventurous Duinvliet hiking, canoeing, cycling and horse-riding route. So rent a canoe, take your picnic basket and go! Head toward Julianadorp or Den Helder aan Zee, along the colourful flower bulb fields and right through lovely nature areas.
