At Scheepstuigerij De Schieman we process rope and steel wire into a traditional product and we do a lot of sail makers work. We work for both companies and individuals. We are regularly asked by private individuals to make a cable ring with iguana or widened fenders as a beautiful decorative edge and / or to protect their boat. But we also supply stays, shots and falls, jib nets, play nets, climbing nets or a net like protection at a fishing pond. As a sailmaker, customers regularly hand in tents for repair.

Smartlappenkoor Ordinaria is a four-part choir that has been around for more than 20 years. We sing smartlaps, life songs and Dutch-language repertoire. Every year we participate in Music Day, Summer Dreams and other events.

Creative organizational talent that can be used for various projects. I started my business 9 years ago. Organizing parties, events, artists' books (well-known and less well-known). An advantage is that I myself am a musician and feel what the client means, on the other hand I have the "feeling" with the artists. Creative thinking has become my trademark and together with a large team we do everything we can to achieve a great end result.

Since 1996, the museum lightship Texel No. 10 has been an absolute eye-catcher in Museum Harbor Willemsoord on the Oude Rijkswerf Willemsoord in Den Helder. What is special is that the now beautifully restored ship is moored a stone's throw from the slipway where she was launched in 1951. After this, the lightship would be a reliable beacon in the sea off the Dutch coast for forty years. It now forms a shining centerpiece of a special museum ships collection. In the middle of the Duinpark and in the heart of Nieuw Den Helder, close to the dunes, the forest and the beach, you will find this hidden gem. This B&B has its own entrance via the terrace, and a beautiful view of the water. The basement was converted into a guest apartment for 2 people in 2019, with a luxury bathroom and a kitchenette.

A night out with friends, a game of pool, billiard or snooker, all whilst enjoying a craft beer from the tap? Or would you rather go to battle in our 400 square meter lasertag arena? Everything is possible at the Billiard- and snookercenter!

When the spring sun shows itself, the ice fun starts. People of all ages eagerly gather round the display of ice-cream parlour Kaap Hoorn at Willemsoord. It is often a difficult choice between all the wonderful, artisan ice-cream flavours. But it is not just the ice-cream, also our special, rich-flavoured coffees are made with love and passion. Why not have some ice-cream to go with your coffee, instead of a cookie?

Restaurant Vice Versa is situated in the station building of Den Helder Airport, from which our guests can enjoy a nice cup of coffee, a lovely lunch, our sandwich of the month or one of our delicious fried egg on toast. All of that whilst overlooking the runway of the airport with all sorts of activity. What a lot of the people of Den Helder don't know, is that we are freely accessible. No passport or ID required! You can also come to us for all sorts of catering possibilities. You can also celebrate your birthday or some other occasion with us!

The Aquanauten diving club is a fun diving club for anyone who likes to practice his or her hobby in a sporty way. Underwater sports association the Aquanauten is the oldest association in Den Helder and also the diving association with the most members (more than 60) in Den Helder. In addition to diving, our diving club is also very sporty practicing underwater hockey.
