Kinepolis Den Helder opened her doors in building 51 in Willemsoord, the former shipyard and maintenance site for the Royal Navy in 2003. Housed in the historic mast shed, once part of the Royal Netherlands Navy, it is now an open and inspiring space for residents and visitors alike. The mast shed and sailmaker's workshop have been thoroughly renovated for sustainability, with solar panels, smart installations, and a thermal energy storage system.
