Citymarketing Den Helder has opened an Experience Store in the center of Den Helder. A unique concept where you can interactively obtain information about living, working, learning and leisure within the municipality of Den Helder. The store contains various elements that provide information in an interactive way. For example, imagine yourself in a helicopter and take a scenic flight over Den Helder, using the VR mask waiting for you at the store. There is also a column with screens from the housing association with information about the various construction projects that are currently underway. There is a rack with brochures about the available activities and regularly someone from the Navy is present to answer questions. There are several other elements that change every few months, so please keep dropping by. Do you have questions about living, learning, working and leisure in Den Helder? Citymarketing Den Helder is ready for you from Tuesday to Saturday between 10:00 and 17:00 in the Experience Store. (between April 1 and November 1, the Experience Store is also open on Mondays).

Lightship Texel
Since 1996, the museum lightship Texel No. 10 has been an absolute eye-catcher in Museum Harbor Willemsoord on the Oude Rijkswerf Willemsoord in Den Helder. What is special is that the now beautifully restored ship is moored a stone's throw from the slipway where she was launched in 1951. After this, the lightship would be a reliable beacon in the sea off the Dutch coast for forty years. It now forms a shining centerpiece of a special museum ships collection. Nieuwedieper Visserskoor
This male choir currently has around 43 members. A choir that was born from the Helderse fishery. It has now grown into a group of singing men who stand their ground well during the performance. These performances not only cross the city limits of Den Helder, but even the land borders.

Hawaiian Fantasy
Hawaiian Fantasy is a Polynesian dance group with dances from the islands of Hawaii, Tahiti, Marquises and New Sealand (Maori). You can provide stage performances, but can also be used as a 'welcoming act' where, if desired, flower wreaths are hung in the well-known Hawaiian way to welcome the guests. The Hawaiian Fantasy dance group, led by choreographer and dancer Junius Sadeleer, performs with a mini-disc or with a live band, consisting of 4 instrumentalists (percussion).
