In our green houses we can show you over 1.000.000 tulips, in different phases of growth. This is something we want to share with everybody and therefore we are the 1st tulip green house in the Netherlands which opens her doors for groups on holiday or societies on a daytrip. In the period 1934 to 1941, the Jewish Werkdorp Nieuwesluis was a place for Jewish refugees to follow agricultural training.

Bloeiers is a nursery in Slootdorp (Wieringermeer) where in spring annual summer flowers are grown, and in the autumn special decoration fruits. At Bloeiers you will buy the products directly from the farm. Starting this spring, the greenhouses have been extended to an area of 9500 m2. At care farm Cormeij Hoeve, you may help taking care of the animals.

Historic towns such as Medemblik, Schagen and Hoorn are definitely worth a visit. Even the metropolis of Amsterdam can be reached in 40 minutes by car. The luxurious holiday home, which was newly built in 2006, is located on the large yard of Peter and Monique. You live alone in the house and are our only guest. Part of the house is used as a storage room, here you can possibly. stables bicycles and the like.
