In our green houses we can show you over 1.000.000 tulips, in different phases of growth, in many species and colours. A beautiful sight! Yellow, red, pink, white, flamed, every week new species, this is the thing we can't get enough of. This is something we want to share with everybody and therefore we are the 1st tulip green house in the Netherlands which opens her doors for groups on holiday or societies on a daytrip. The holiday home offers a lot of space, peace and comfort (at 2000m2 ground). The Ouwebalg is located in the middle of nature and is surrounded by bulb fields. The garden is completely surrounded by trees, which means that in summer there is no view from the outside. The garden is bordered by one of the most beautiful fishing waters in The Netherlands. Special border between the North Sea and the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site.

If you are in Petten aan Zee, be sure to take a look at the Palendorp monument on the beach near Bergeendstraat. This beautiful work of art consists of 160 poles of six to twelve meters in length. The poles are in the shape of ten houses and a church. It is a reminder of old Petten, which was flooded by the sea long ago.

Palingrokerij Kay - Den Oever is a mobile eel smokehouse with a 5-star status. The eel comes from our own catch, IJsselmeer or even from Ireland. For the gourmets there is also smoked salmon and mackerel. During the season, own eel is caught on the Wadden Sea, you can see the traps when you look out to sea at the Monument! Come and have a look, you are very welcome.

'Vakantie Dirkshorn' is a bungalow park located the heart of the North Holland polder landscape. The spacious park is located in Dirkshorn. Between all the greenery are 92 bricks and 249 wooden recreational homes. Furthermore, the park consists of a walking forest, playgrounds, large pond, tennis court and football pitch. There are even two goats on the park, which can be left out in the summer.

Park Duinland is an excellent base for a hike of bike holiday. There are beautiful routes in de surrounding area through flower fields and dunes. The bungalows are rented out by private owners.
