The Helderse Vallei is the starting point of the 4 well-marked canoe routes that Den Helder has, with various jetties along the way. In addition, Den Helder has various waterways that are easily accessible for canoes. The village route (purple route, 15 km), the southernmost route, runs along the outer edges of Julianadorp.

Boat tour and boat rental, the Eendagskapitein, offers tours which we take you to our beautiful open growers from the 'Rijd' in Nieuwe Niedorp. But you can also come to us for a boat to enjoy with your family or a few friends or to sail with just the two of us. We offer various arrangements, thinking of dinner, barbecue, picnic. You can express your wishes with us, together we will come to a suitable arrangement. We have boats for 3-4 people, 4-5 people and 6 people and more.

The Flevohoeve offers two rustic accommodations for B & B off season and weekly rentals in high season. The accommodations feature comfortable beds, a living room, kitchen, hallway and bathroom. The garden is spacious, there is a gas BBQ, patio furniture and ample parking. On the farm is wifi. The Callantsoog Beach is located at 9km, the Oudeveer at the end of the road and Schagen, Den Helder and the ferry to Texel can be reached within 15 minutes.
