The Van Haaster family has a family business in flower bulbs. Their farm is located in the middle of the bulb fields. Because they themselves always enjoy the environment and the many hours of sunshine that Den Helder has to offer, they have decided to share their beautiful place with everyone who likes camping. That is why they opened their Mini Camping “Uitzicht” in June 2021. Peter and Petra Oudsten have been living in Den Helder since 2019 and have a great love for Den Helder and the surrounding area. They will manage the campsite for the Van Haasteren family and will assist you with advice and assistance.

The Aquanauten diving club is a fun diving club for anyone who likes to practice his or her hobby in a sporty way. Underwater sports association the Aquanauten is the oldest association in Den Helder and also the diving association with the most members (more than 60) in Den Helder. Street organ the Harmonica
Our Dutch culture seems to be fading, but not in Den Helder. Since 1975, the Helderse Draaiorgelvrienden have been active to maintain a tradition. The 90-key street organ 'de Harmonica' is managed and operated by the volunteers of 'Stichting Helderse Draaiorgelvrienden'. Almost every Saturday they are with the organ in the city center of Den Helder. On an original wooden, three-wheeled push cart and always turned by hand, as happened a century ago.
