De Groot Recreatie offers you a sea of possibilities in the field of recreation. They organize the following activities: mudflat walking, bird and seal watching during a cruise, walking and cycling over Wieringen, shrimp fishing or staying overnight in the Waddenhuus.

In the beautiful town of Hippolytushoef in North Holland you will find a food and snack corner: the Smulhoek. Hippolytushoef is surrounded by walking and cycling routes that take you through the history of the former island of Wieringen. De Smulhoek is an attractive restaurant with a beautiful sunny terrace. Easy to find, and a wide range of free parking spaces in front of the restaurant. Children with a special children's play corner have also been considered.

A day of sport fishing is a unique way to discover the North Sea. Fish all day at the North Sea with colleagues, friends or family and take your caught of the day home.

Scooter rental in Hippolytushoef for which you do not need a helmet. You can rent with 2 people on one scooter and for half a day or longer. We speak German, French and English.

In de top van de voorgevel van deze Wieringerboerderij is het bouwjaar 1734 gemetseld. Maar vermoedelijk is de boerderij 17e-eeuws vanwege het historische metselwerk.

Sauna "Het Kuurhuys" offers modern sauna and wellness facilities in the atmosphere.
