Our marina has 45 berths, all of which have electricity and water. They are mostly being used by the people who have their boats there all year round, but people passing by are ofcourse most welcome! De harbormaster has his office on the top floor of our organization’s ship the ”Albatros” (the big ark sitting sideways on the quay). Also on the top floor you find our bar, which is opened during the season in the afternoon and evening. The harbor of the MWV is located at walking distance (15 minutes) from the center of Den Helder, and the railway station. Also the Reddingmuseum, the Marinemuseum and the old navy yard Willemsoord are well within (walking) distance. Right across from the Marinemuseum you can find the ferry to Texel.

Beach entrance Duinoord
Beach entrance Duinoord is the best equipped beach entrance of Den Helder, with plenty of parking space, its very own Beachclub the Citadel, and a guarded beach post in the summer season. In the direct surroundings there are a few nature areas like ''de Donkere Duinen'' and ''Mariëndal''. Duinoord has a nice, wide beach, and is often visited during the summer by both tourists and inhabitants of Den Helder. This beach has the Blue Flag and is being guarded.

‘WSV Onrust’
The marina of the Onrust association is situated around the "Onrust" residential area. On one side the Bassin and Spoorhaven and on the other side the Helders Kanaal (the canal). The club has around 100 berths in total. The size of the berths varies from 6 meters to around 17 meters. In the Helders Kanaal the berths are issued at the length of the ship while the boxes are issued at box length (12 meters for the Bassin and 15 meters for the Spoorhaven).
