Our marina has 45 berths, all of which have electricity and water. They are mostly being used by the people who have their boats there all year round, but people passing by are ofcourse most welcome! De harbormaster has his office on the top floor of our organization’s ship the ”Albatros” (the big ark sitting sideways on the quay). Also on the top floor you find our bar, which is opened during the season in the afternoon and evening. The harbor of the MWV is located at walking distance (15 minutes) from the center of Den Helder, and the railway station. Also the Reddingmuseum, the Marinemuseum and the old navy yard Willemsoord are well within (walking) distance. Right across from the Marinemuseum you can find the ferry to Texel.

Icecream salon Wim Laan
The ice is prepared in the traditional way and is always fresh. Everyone is welcome from Monday - Saturday, and during the summer periode also opened every Sunday.

Hotel Cape Horn
Hotel Cape Horn is situated at the Zuidstraat in Den Helder, near the city center and the old Royal Navy shipyard Willemsoord. You can walk right into the city center where you find loads of cozy restaurants. Or cross the little bridge to visit one of the museums at Willemsoord. Our hotel has free Wi-Fi. Dive club De Aquanauten
The Aquanauten diving club is a fun diving club for anyone who likes to practice his or her hobby in a sporty way. Underwater sports association the Aquanauten is the oldest association in Den Helder and also the diving association with the most members (more than 60) in Den Helder. In addition to diving, our diving club is also very sporty practicing underwater hockey.

Marina W.S.V. Onrust
The marina of our organization is situated around the ''Onrust'' area. On the one side the basin and the Spoorharbor, and at the other side the Canal of Den Helder. In total we have around 100 berths. The births vary in size from 6 meters to around 17 meters.

An advantage is that I myself am a musician and feel what the client means, on the other hand I have the "feeling" with the artists.
