Visit our cozy, homely lunch café at Willemsoord. Our café has a beautiful, old industrial look to it. We offer you an excellent and surprising lunch menu. Enjoy over 20 different kinds of coffee and 12 flavours of tea. We make all our products ourself. For (corporate) parties, we provide high tea's, high beers and high wines, all for a good price.

Our restaurant is located in the city centre of Den Helder. At Powngtong you can enjoy delicious Thai food. We also offer vegetarian dishes.

Our Dutch culture seems to be fading, but not in Den Helder. Since 1975, the Helderse Draaiorgelvrienden have been active to maintain a tradition. The 90-key street organ 'de Harmonica' is managed and operated by the volunteers of 'Stichting Helderse Draaiorgelvrienden'. Almost every Saturday they are with the organ in the city center of Den Helder. On an original wooden, three-wheeled push cart and always turned by hand, as happened a century ago.

The Royal Navy yacht club was founded on April 29th, 1899 by officers of the Royal Navy. It is, and always has been, a club for Royal Navy personnel. The club is open to officers, officers-in-training and former officers of the Royal Navy and the Royal Navy Reserve. In november of 1901, the title ''Royal'' was added to the club by Queen Emma. In the first few years of the club, about 40% of the navy officers (around 350) were a part of the club.

Enjoy our delicious Italian cuisine at pizzaria Da Gino. Our restaurant is located in a beautiful location in the centre of Den Helder. We, Giorgio Tronci and my wife Alice Defigus, are very proud of the location of our restaurant. The building has been designed in a fine Mediterranean look. For many years we have been running our restaurant Golden Bridge with great pleasure. Quality, good food and good service are important to us. The menu consists more than 50 different small dishes. Delicious snacks from Chinese-Cantonese and Japanese cuisine, prepared from poultry, meat, fish and various vegetables. Steamed, grilled or fried.
