The former shop with house was built in 1923. The shop front is a reminder of the time when a shop was located here. The shop space and the owner’s living room are both located at the front of the building. There was a small storage room in the back of the store where products were stored. There’s an FA drugstore. J. Kruijff was established, this was driven by Mr. J. Hart. Then, in April 1932, a branch of the Albert Heijn retail chain was opened. This is the first (and so far last) Albert Heijn store in Nieuwe Niedorp. The characteristic turrets are in the Jugendstil style. The building has no monumental status. Stolpboerderij Oudeweg 16
In 1861 is de stolpboerderij met enkel vierkant gebouwd. Het is een Noord-Hollandse normaalstolp: kenmerkend zijn de dorsdeuren aan de achterzijde van de stolp. Het voordakvlak is rietgedekt met een pannenspiegel. In de jaren 80 is vermoedelijk het gehele dak voorzien van riet. De schuur (ook eens stolp) is gebouwd in 1898 voor het onderbrengen van stieren, kalveren, een paard en een varken.

Landhoofden in Nieuwe Niedorp van de tramlijn Wognum – Schagen
De historische landhoofden zijn een tastbare herinnering aan de trambrug voor de oversteek over de Langereis. Vanaf 30 oktober 1898 werd de brug gebruikt door de stoomtram van Schagen naar Wognum. Het traject was 23 kilometer lang en duurde 70 minuten. De tram vervoerde personen maar ook vele goederen voor de veiling in Winkel en de gasfabriek in Nieuwe Niedorp. Na de komst van busverbindingen en vrachtwagens werd op 31 januari 1930 de tramlijn gesloten.
