Kinepolis Den Helder opened her doors in building 51 in Willemsoord, the former shipyard and maintenance site for the Royal Navy in 2003. Various details of the Old Rijkswerf were left intact; Two of the halls were newly built against the Shipyard. The cinema has six halls. See the current movie program on the website.

For many years we have been running our restaurant Golden Bridge with great pleasure. Quality, good food and good service are important to us. The menu consists more than 50 different small dishes. Delicious snacks from Chinese-Cantonese and Japanese cuisine, prepared from poultry, meat, fish and various vegetables. Steamed, grilled or fried.

The rate is € 10, - per night, this includes: tourist tax, Wi-fi. the discharge of sewage and use of showers, toilets and baby care room. To use the laundry you can purchase a sep-key at the tourist information office or the harbour master.
