Freshwaters and salty seas
Which beaches line the salty seas and which line the freshwaters? A total of six beaches can be found in the Kop van Noord-Holland, along the salty North Sea coast. From the beautiful white sands of Callantsoog all the way to Den Helder.
If salt water and sandy beaches are not your thing, and you prefer a freshwater dive instead, the largest lake of the Netherlands is just an hour away for you to dip your feet in. The small beaches along the Amstelmeer and IJsselmeer are great places to enjoy a day of sun and water. Various activities are just around the corner, like wakeboarding, paddleboarding and flyboarding.
