Holly Martins arrives in Vienna after his friend Harry Lime has offered him a job. Upon arrival, Holly discovers that Harry has died in an accident. He soon notices that the circumstances surrounding his death do not add up. Determined to uncover the truth, Holly starts his own investigation and becomes increasingly entangled in a mystery full of secrets and unexpected developments.
