Gewoon zoals je bent is a musical and visual theatre production by Klein Amsterdam Producties, based on the popular picture book by Jonny Lambert. The performance takes young children into the world of the headstrong little elephant Little Snuf.
Little Snuf struggles to keep up, because there is so much to discover along the way. Time and again, he is called back with the message: “In line, Little Snuf!” But Snuf goes his own way and discovers that it is actually good to be yourself. In doing so, the performance reflects on themes such as self-confidence, individuality, and the right to be yourself in an accessible manner.
The performance combines theatre, music, and visuals and has been specially developed for young children aged 2 to 5. With a running time of approximately 40 minutes, the performance is suitable as a first introduction to theatre.
The performance takes place on October 18, 2026, in the theater hall of the Cultuurschuur Wieringerwerf and begins at 11:00 AM. Admission is €10 per person.
