Detached bungalow for 4 people located about 0.4 km from the beach. This 4 **** cottage has two bedrooms with one double bed and two single beds. An adventurous tour looking for seals and other sea animals. Discover what you didn’t know about the sea, both above and below water! The boats of the Wadvissersgilde will take you to the most beautiful places of the Wadden Sea, which you can’t see from the dyke. You will be visiting the Wieringer grounds and will be told about this special area. During the trip, the seabed will be trawled and the marine life hoisted onboard to uncover what hides beneath. From crawly crabs to glassy shrimps, you will have the opportunity to admire these sea animals from up close.

When you sail with the Tres Hombres, you will not count as a passenger, no, you're really a part of the crew! You come on board "with the safe holes" or you start at the lower rungs of the ladder. You learn the necessary safety knowledge for ordinary seaman, ship maintenance, steering, pay attention to changes, set sail and more. On our visit address at Huisduinen (art workplace LDS46) we organize, in addition to changing exhibits, regular events. The nature that surrounds Den Helder is fairly unknown, but certainly worth the effort. For example the "Huisduinerpolder". Located behind the hospital of Den Helder starts a path to the marshy polder, next to Fort Erfprins. The brackish influence of the North Sea water is noticeable in the vegetation due to the presence of salt-loving plants. In spring and autumn there are large numbers of curlews, sandpipers and oystercatchers at high tide. Brent geese, snow buntings and moorhens look for food in the winter. The polder is a breeding ground for reed singers and redshanks.
