The mill was built in 1851 as a corn and hulling mill. The voluntary millers keep the mill running regularly.

Our beautiful B&B is located in Hippolytushoef. You have your own entrance to your spacious, attractive room with bathroom and a nice terrace.

The detached villa was built in 1928 for a member of the management of the Zuiderzee Works.

Uit Eigen Streek offers the most delicious Dutch regional products and delicacies. At Uit Eigen Streek you will find a multitude of special gifts and tasty flavors from all over the country, including many from North Holland and the Wadden area. Consider, for example, cranberry and sea buckthorn products, Dutch garlic products, Wieringer Jodenkoeken, real farmhouse cheese, organic dairy and strawberries.

Playground association Helderse Buurt was founded in 1952 from the neighbourhood association Helderse Buurt. The playground offers a playground that was completely renovated in 2018 on a 1,250 m2 fenced area. In the playground, the large climbing, scrambling and sliding device stands out with a large tube slide. Everyone can play in the playground, from very small to about 12 years old. Children up to six years old must be accompanied by an adult

Behind the dike, directly on the Wadden Sea, you'll find Restaurant Bij Ons Thuys at the Recreation Park. A beautifully situated location where you can go for a cup of coffee with cake, a lunch, a quiet terrace for a drink with a snack or eat a nice snack in the evening. Accessible & cozy! De Wieringer bookshop: The aim was (and is) to give the islanders, but also passers-by, the feeling that they have missed something when they have not been inside. Every visit to the bookstore should be a party. We think we have succeeded in that aim. Everyone, young and old, can look around uninhibitedly, browse and enjoy what each book entails. The atmosphere is pleasant and homely. Feel free to sit down in one of the chairs and read the first chapter of the book that you will be taking home with you.

In the beautiful town of Hippolytushoef in North Holland you will find a food and snack corner: the Smulhoek. Hippolytushoef is surrounded by walking and cycling routes that take you through the history of the former island of Wieringen. De Smulhoek is an attractive restaurant with a beautiful sunny terrace. Easy to find, and a wide range of free parking spaces in front of the restaurant. Children with a special children's play corner have also been considered.
