Het station in Wieringerwaard is gebouwd in 1910 voor de Nederlandse tramlijn Van Ewijcksvaart – Schagen. Destijds werd deze aangelegd door de N.V. Spoor-(tram)weg Wieringen-Schagen. Het station werd op 1 maart 1912 geopend en gesloten op 31 december 1934. Het voormalig tramstation is wit gepleisterd baksteen en valt daarom erg op. Aan de gevel is tussen de eerste en tweede bouwlaag een tegeltableau met de naam van het station Wieringerwaard aangebracht. Het voormalige vroeg 20st-eeuwse tramstation van Wieringerwaard is van algemeen belang vanwege de architectuur-, cultuurhistorische en typologische waarde als zeldzaam en grotendeels gaaf bewaard gebleven voorbeeld van een stationsgebouw behorend bij de Tramweg Wieringen-Schagen, in de stijl van de Overgangsarchitectuur.

Marina Nieuwe Sluis
The Marina is located in a natural and quiet area on the Waard kanaal in Wieringerwaard. On the south side of the harbor is the lake of the North-Holland Wieringermeerpolder lake. The small harbor offers about 40 berths, with about 20 boxes and a number of berths on the quayside. The Nieuwe Sluis also offers toilets, showers, electrics, a trailer ramp and a small playground for children.
